Effective 12 December, 2023. Last Revised 15 January, 2026.
Thank you for using the Ziff Application Programming Interface (“Ziff API”) distributed through the Ziff API Portal platform. This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the circumstances under which refunds may or may not be issued for the Ziff API. By subscribing to or using the Ziff API, you agree to this Policy as part of your agreement with Ziff Digital Ltd. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must discontinue your use of the Ziff API.
This Policy is with: Ziff Digital Ltd, and Ziff Digital Ltd only; a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 15827388, having its registered office at 182–184 High Street North, 4096, East Ham, London E6 2JA, United Kingdom.
All payments, subscriptions, and usage billing for the Ziff API are managed by Ziff Digital Ltd. Ziff Digital Ltd does not directly process or store any payment information. Any refund or billing inquiries must be submitted through the Ziff Digital Ltd Support system at ask@ziff.digital.
Because API services are provided digitally and billed based on usage or subscription, all API calls successfully processed are non-refundable. Once an API request has been executed or a subscription period has commenced, Ziff Digital Ltd cannot reverse or refund the associated charges. Refunds will not be granted for accidental usage, improper configuration, or misunderstanding of documentation.
Refunds may be considered only in limited cases where:
In such cases, users must open a support case about the Ziff API Portal within seven (7) days of the incident and provide detailed usage logs, error reports, or other evidence demonstrating the outage or defect, by sending an email to the Ziff Digital Ltd Support system via ask@ziff.digital providing the correct documentation.
Ziff Digital Ltd will review the request and, at its sole discretion, determine whether a refund or service credit is appropriate. Any approved refunds will be processed exclusively via the Stripe Billing platform.
Cancellations made through the Ziff API Portal platform will immediately stop future billing and access to the Ziff API; however, no refunds will be issued for previously billed periods or consumed API calls, consistent with RapidAPI’s policy.
You may cancel your subscription to the Ziff API at any time from your Ziff API Portal dashboard. Cancellation will prevent future billing but will not generate refunds for prior usage, billing periods, or partially used subscription cycles. Continued access to the Ziff API after cancellation will cease immediately at the end of the current billing period.
Ziff Digital Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with refunds, payments, or the use of the Ziff API, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory. Under no circumstances shall Ziff Digital Ltd be obligated to refund any amount exceeding the total fees paid by the user during the billing period in question.
All billing, subscription, and refund transactions are governed by Stripe’s Terms of Service, depending on the payment platform used. Ziff Digital Ltd determines refund eligibility in accordance with this Policy, but any approved refunds are executed solely through the billing infrastructure of the respective platform. By using the Ziff API, you acknowledge and agree that the applicable platform’s terms, together with Ziff Digital Ltd’s terms, collectively govern your refund rights.
